About Me

Mike Fielder

MD License #662897

Mike is a true Baltimorean through and through. Born in Reisterstown, he ventured just a bit south to Towson for college, and now plants his flag in North Baltimore with his wife Leslie, their dynamic 4-year-old daughter, and a menagerie that rivals a small zoo. This includes three masterminding cats named Eddie, Bruce, and Boh, Charlie the 105lb black lab who thinks he’s a lap dog, and an impressive collection of five fish tanks—which, unlike his houseplants, are thriving.

A Towson University alum, Mike juggled a degree in Sport Management and Business Administration with a full-time job and still managed to dodge injuries in Club Lacrosse—mostly. His quirky sense of humor and perpetually calm demeanor make the home-buying and selling process not only enjoyable but downright fun.

Meanwhile, his deep knowledge of the real estate market and killer negotiating skills are nothing short of invaluable to his clients. Off duty, Mike is an amateur horticulturist (of the “how not to” variety), a leisure sports casualty, a key-lime pie connoisseur, and keeps his cardiologist on speed dial, thanks to many nail-biting Raven’s and O’s games. But, let’s be real, his truest passion lies in the noble art of writing about himself in the third person.

Frequently asked questions

What does a property management company do?

A property management company handles the day-to-day operations of your rental property, including tenant screening, leasing, rent collection, maintenance coordination, property inspections, and communication with tenants. Our goal is to protect your investment while ensuring your property remains profitable and well-maintained.

How do you screen potential tenants?

We use a thorough tenant screening process that includes background checks, credit reports, rental history verification, employment and income verification, and reference checks. This ensures responsible tenants who pay rent on time and take care of your property.

How is rent collected and distributed?

We handle online rent collection, enforce due dates, and manage reminders or late notices when needed. Funds are deposited directly into your account, accompanied by monthly financial statements, so you always know how your rental property is performing.

How do you handle maintenance and repairs?

We coordinate all property maintenance and repair services using trusted, licensed contractors. Whether it’s routine upkeep or emergency repairs, we manage the process and maintain communication with both you and your tenants, ensuring your property stays in excellent condition.

Do you manage lease renewals and move-ins/move-outs?

Yes — we handle the entire leasing cycle, including move-in inspections, lease preparation, renewal evaluations, and move-out assessments. This ensures a smooth transition between tenants and helps reduce vacancy time while protecting your property’s value.
